Osun LG Poll: APGA Chairmanship Candidate Vows to Collaborate with Governor Adeleke for Osun’s Development

OSUN LG POLL: APGA CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE VOWS TO COLLABORATE WITH GOV. ADELEKE FOR OSUN'S DEVELOPMENT

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chairmanship Candidate for Ilesa West Local Government, Wole Adedoyin, has declared his readiness to work in partnership with the Osun State Governor, Senator Demola Adeleke, if elected in the forthcoming local government polls.

Adedoyin made this commitment during a recent press briefing, emphasizing his commitment to fostering unity and development within the state.

Wole Adedoyin, a dedicated member of APGA, highlighted his belief in collaboration as a vital tool for effective governance. He expressed his admiration for the strides Governor Adeleke has made in Osun State and assured the public that, if elected, he would leverage the state government's developmental agenda to uplift Ilesa West.

“Governor Adeleke has shown a clear vision for Osun’s growth, and I intend to complement his efforts by ensuring that Ilesa West enjoys its fair share of development,” Adedoyin stated.

Adedoyin outlined several areas in which he plans to collaborate with the state government, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. He stressed the need for synergy between local government leadership and the state government, pointing out that such cooperation would be crucial to improving the quality of life for the people of Ilesa West. “We cannot achieve progress in isolation. Working hand in hand with the state government will allow us to address the needs of our people effectively,” he added.

In his vision for Ilesa West, Adedoyin emphasized transparency, accountability, and inclusivity as core principles of his administration. He pledged to create platforms for the residents of the local government to have a voice in decision-making processes. According to him, regular town hall meetings would be organized to ensure that the concerns of the people are heard and addressed.

On the issue of youth unemployment, Adedoyin assured the electorate that one of his major priorities would be to work with the state government to attract investments and establish skills acquisition programs.

He noted that empowering the youth was essential for economic growth and reducing crime. “We must give our youths the tools they need to succeed. By partnering with the state government, we can create more opportunities for them,” he said.

Addressing the challenges facing the local government, particularly in the areas of road infrastructure and healthcare, Adedoyin promised to collaborate with the relevant state ministries to secure necessary funds and resources. He added that he would ensure that all projects are executed promptly and with high standards. “The welfare of our people is paramount, and I am committed to delivering on all my promises,” he assured.

Wole Adedoyin further reiterated his belief in the APGA’s philosophy of being one’s brother and sister’s keeper, stressing that this philosophy aligns perfectly with Governor Adeleke’s commitment to inclusive governance. He noted that his administration would prioritize policies that benefit all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations.

In his concluding remarks, Adedoyin urged the people of Ilesa West to support his candidacy in the upcoming polls. He expressed confidence that his vision for the local government, combined with a collaborative approach with the state government, would bring about a new era of development for the area. “Ilesa West deserves leadership that is proactive and aligned with the broader goals of the state. I am that leader, and I am ready to serve,” he declared.

The APGA candidate also called on members of other political parties to join hands in building a better future for Ilesa West, stating that development should transcend political differences. “We must all come together for the good of our people. Our shared goal should be the prosperity of Ilesa West and Osun State as a whole,” Adedoyin concluded.

As the Osun local government elections draw near, the people of Ilesa West will have the opportunity to decide who will lead them in the coming years, with Adedoyin positioning himself as a candidate focused on unity, collaboration, and progress.
